AI1Design – Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 26 July 2025

Welcome to AI1Design! By using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully – we’ve tried to keep the legalese to a minimum, but some of it is unavoidable. By continuing to work with us, you're agreeing to the terms below.

1. Definitions
-
“Client”, “you”, “your” refers to you or the entity entering into an agreement with AI1Design.
-
“AI1Design”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to the business AI1Design, part of AI1Group Limited.
-
“Services” refers to any work we carry out for you, including branding, website design (Wix, WordPress, Joomla, custom code), maintenance, support, or consultancy.

2. Scope of Work
We’ll provide a detailed proposal or quote for every project. This outlines what’s included (and what isn’t). Any extra work outside of the agreed scope will be quoted and billed separately.

3. Payment Terms
-
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any work begins.
-
The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to launch or delivery of files.
-
Payments are due within 7 days of invoice. Late payments may attract a £25 admin fee and/or interest at 5% per month.
-
We reserve the right to suspend work or remove live websites if payment is significantly delayed.

4. Your Responsibilities
-
Provide content (text, images, logos) in a timely fashion unless we've agreed to create it for you.
-
Respond to feedback or queries within a reasonable timeframe.
-
Secure the necessary permissions for any materials you supply us.

5. Project Timelines
We’ll give you an estimated timeline. We’ll stick to it as best we can, but we’re not liable for delays caused by:
-
Late client responses
-
Scope creep
-
Force majeure (stuff we can’t control)

6. Revisions
Each project includes two rounds of revisions unless otherwise stated. Further changes will be charged at our standard hourly rate.

7. Website Ownership
Once full payment is received, you own:
-
The final design
-
The website content (that you provided or paid us to create)
-
Any custom code we’ve written for you (excluding open-source software or plugins)
We reserve the right to showcase your project in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise in writing.

8. Hosting and Maintenance
We offer ongoing support and hosting through our partner brand, AI1Host. If you choose a third-party host, we’ll assist with migration (within reason), but can’t be responsible for their uptime or support.

9. Cancellation
-
If you cancel before work begins, your deposit is forfeited.
-
If cancelled mid-project, you’ll be invoiced for completed work to date.
-
We may cancel at any time with written notice, typically only if you're in breach of these terms.

10. Liability
We do our best to ensure everything runs smoothly, but:
-
We’re not liable for any loss of income, profits, or data due to project delays, errors, or downtime.
-
We’re not responsible for third-party tools, plugins, or services failing.
If we mess up, we’ll always aim to put it right.

11. Confidentiality
We’ll keep your information private and expect the same courtesy in return.

12. Legal Stuff
-
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
-
If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
-
We can update these terms at any time, and you’ll be notified of major changes.
